This grease gun is awsome, but when it says 10000psi, they may be under rating it, I was greasing a spindle cap on a tractor, and the seals were installed upside down. When pumping grease into the cap, the pressure shared off the 2 grade 10.5 5\8″ diameter bolts holding the cap on, listen the the pump. If it starts to big down. STOP pumping

Frankly, you can get by with a much lesser grease gun than this, and it would probably be tough to justify for anybody but a well equipped professional or a really hard core do-it-your-selfer. This thing was not cheap…..
Having said that, anybody who has spent anytime under a car, truck, or RV trying to grease hard to find and access grease fittings knows the frustration of trying to keep the coupler from going crooked or popping off altogether from a difficult fitting, all while trying to pump the gun in a confined space. For me it usually results in grease leaking out everywhere and neighbors closing their windows to avoid the profanities.
This gun changes all that. Some have called it a game changer, and they may not be wrong…
After one particularly hot, sweaty, frustrating job where I ended up trashing 4 non-working-at-the-time, cheapy to not-so-cheapy conventional chinese grease guns and 2 air operated china guns I decided to break down and buy something decent. (I don’t know…Is Mexican made automatically better?)
I’m already married to the Dewalt 20v/60v stuff, so choosing a brand was pretty much a no brainer.
So, in for a dime, in for a dollar…..I also bought and installed a LockNLube coupler right out of the box along with a LockNLube 90 degree coupler for use when necessary. (The LockNLube coupler simply clips firmly to the 90 adapter. Too Cool….) When using the straight coupler, if you can get the coupler on the fitting, it’s not coming back off until you want it to. When using the 90, you may have to hold it in place, but that’s a whole lot easier when you don’t need 3 hands like you do with a pump gun. (The LockNLube is killer, and probably 50% of what makes this rig great. I personally wouldn’t get one without the other.)
I was always disappointed with both of my air operated, hand held grease guns. They worked well on most fittings, but it seemed like every job had at least one plugged fitting the air powered guns couldn’t handle, resulting in having to go sift through my tub full of oil dripping, old conventional grease guns in hopes of finding one that works well enough to to bust through the dirt/dried grease. Not so with the Dewalt. I have yet to encounter a fitting it couldn’t blast through. I read a review of someone who claimed the opposite, that their gun couldn’t push grease through much of anything without the relief valve popping off. I’m pretty sure that had to be a defective unit. I have been a mechanic for about 45 years now, and this is easily the strongest gun I have ever used.
Overall I can usually finish in a fraction of the time, without all the frustration. It’s worth every damn penny to me…….

As any DIY enthusiast or professional mechanic knows, greasing up machinery and equipment is a necessary chore. But with the DeWalt DCGG571B, it’s a chore that gets a turbo boost. Here’s why this grease gun deserves a nod:
Performance: The DCGG571B is like the Usain Bolt of grease guns—up to 50% faster than manual ones. No more cranking that handle until your arm feels like spaghetti. This cordless wonder delivers grease with the efficiency of a well-oiled machine.
Battery-Powered Convenience: It runs on DeWalt’s 20V MAX batteries—the same ones you use for your other DeWalt tools. Pop in a battery, and you’re ready to grease. No cords, no fuss.
Pressure and Volume: Need power? This gun cranks out up to 10,000 PSI (that’s a lot of pressure!) and delivers 5.0 ounces of grease per minute. Whether you’re lubing up heavy machinery or your trusty tractor, it’s got the muscle.
Smart Design: DeWalt thought this through. The innovative pump filter screen keeps dust and debris out of the pump mechanism, prolonging the tool’s life. Plus, the 42-inch hose lets you reach tight spots, and the built-in LED lights illuminate dark corners.
User-Friendly Features: The no-mar foot design means you can rest the gun on flat surfaces without leaving marks. And when you swap cartridges, the air bleeder valve makes priming a breeze.
Weight and Warranty: At 9.5 pounds, it’s not feather-light, but it’s manageable. And DeWalt’s got your back with a 90-day money-back guarantee, 1-year free service, and a 3-year limited warranty.

I’ve thought of buying this for years when I recently saw this one. The price was great and after using it yesterday I am so pleased with its effortless performance. I highly recommend this grease gun.

Australias standard grease cartridges are 450g however this takes a 14oz cartridge (400g). Trade tools and a number of other distributors stock the 400g cartridge. If you are happy to order online or buy from a more limited amount stores (or pack your own) this gun is compatible in OZ.

Great bit of kit that doesn’t feel like a full gym workout after greasing 50-100 nipples a day using a manual gun.
Bought direct from Amazon USA import duties all taken care of at Amazon checkout

Been using daily for months now. No problems. Best electric grease gun I’ve owned. I’ve owned several. Even a Blue Point at one time. This is better. Very powerful and compact.

Seems like a quality unit but no good in Australia, slightly too small to accept standard grease cartridges
