As a guy, I never thought I’d be starring in my own skincare redemption arc, but thanks to Proactiv, I’m basically the main character now. This 3-step process feels like joining a secret society where the only rule is “Thou shalt have clear skin.”
Step 1: Cleanser
This stuff doesn’t wash your face — it interrogates it. Every pore gets the third degree. Dirt? Oil? Gone. The little microbeads are like an army of tiny action heroes scrubbing away all the bad decisions from last night’s pizza binge. I swear I heard them shouting, “We’ve got him, boys!” as my blackheads surrendered.
Step 2: Toner
This step made me feel fancy. I’ve never “toned” anything before except my biceps (and even that’s debatable). But here I am, dabbing it on like I’m in a skincare commercial. My face was tingling like it just realized it has potential. I half-expected a spotlight to shine down from the heavens as angelic choirs sang.
Step 3: Repairing Treatment
This is where the magic happens. It’s like applying liquid vengeance to every pimple on my face. I imagine them screaming, “We’ll be back!” as they fade into oblivion. Nope, not today, acne. The pimple patches were not included in the box even though it says so on the front. I cannot return item because my daughter ripped box. Giving this 3 stars because items were missing.

My daughter was a combination skin that is constantly changing. This is a product she uses for breakouts and it is wonderful. Takes normally a couple of days to clear up.

I disliked the fact I was forced to switch over from my previous proactiv product (skin exfoliating wash), which was excellent- to this new system that doesn’t seem to work.
*Note: The lotions leave the face excessively oily, and promotes acne.
I started washing my face with a normal bar of soap, and that itself is clearing up the severe outbreaks caused by said product. Reluctant to recommend..

I was skeptical to purchase this product due to so many product failures in the past. My skin is oily sensitive so most products that I put on my skin burn. Plus, I have huge pores on my nose. After doing some googling, I read that sulfur is great for both of my skin problems. Then I googled what products had sulfur in them and proactive popped up. I have to tell you that my pores on my nose are noticeably smaller by using the Pore Minimizer. That is amazing because I’ve never found anything to do that. I love the cleanser and even the moisturizer because it’s very light. My skin is cleared up, I have no blemishes. This is definitely a product I’m gonna live with for the rest of my life. I don’t smell sulfur in the products just in case you were wondering about that.
