Just an equipment i didn’t known we need it until we bought it. It’s a must have for a heavy duty workshop that needs a clean cut.

Cuts steel faster than a regular circular saw can cut a wooded 2×4. Does make a mess of fine chips, but it catches nearly all of them in it’s own retainment reservoir. Just have to remember to dump it once on a while.

I cut 16’ of 1/4 plate on the first day with this saw. I used a 12.0 battery and it used one bar in 16’ of cuts. Saw is a beast it does throw chips everywhere but it catches almost as much.
Highly recommended tool for steel.
The one down side to me is following a line is almost impossible as you can see the blade. I used a piece of angle and clamped it to the steel and used it as a guide.

Gets it done. Cuts through 1/8” tubing with no problems. Battery lasts pretty long.

Video is 1/4” steel. I’ve been cutting sch. 40 pipe with no issues as well.
Does burn through batteries but I put one of the 8.0 batteries in there and it works great.

If you go slow with an 8.0 battery you can cut some good sized steel. I buy a 12.0 battery on and cut 8’ long strips of 5/8” mild steel. The saw does like to over load but if you go slow it works just fine

Why didn’t I buy one of these years ago?
Solid tool, cuts well with the correct blade!
Eats through 1/2 plate no problem. Batteries are expensive but worth it to not have to be tied to a power cord.

I have used the saw for about a year now and it has performed excellent.
