I’m a plumber in Alaska purchased this 28 piece kit Wow It is super when you have a nail in the way or metal. The key thing when using these hole saws is Drill on low speed that will keep the bit cooler and the paint will stay on. Drilling on high speed will just burn your hale saw bit up. I love the way it’s in the case and there are so many different sizes. Many times i want or need that Different size in the past i just didn’t have it. But now i do it’s a super tool kit to have on my side now. I also have the 10 piece Hawg Bits Milwaukee 49-56-9085 10-Piece Big Hawg Kit Love them super cutting bits hold on. Part of the motivation in buying this saw set was the fitted case. The saws of course were top notch but the plastic storage case is not. The case came damaged but that’s not the fault of the product. The design is very poor with adjustable plastic locating pins that are supposed to keep the saws in place but the do not, once the case is closed and you pick it up to carry it the locating pins dislodge allowing the saws to come in contact with others in the case dulling the saw teeth.

Very nice complete set! I don’t have any others to compare it to but it looks like it’s of decent quality.
I’ve used it once and it cut a very nice clean hole in 1/2″ injection molded polypropylene.
Don’t run the cutters at to high of a speed for the material and keep the cutting area wet with cutting fluid and they should theoretically last for a long time.

A good hole saw kit is something I never thought too much about until I would need to drill a hole larger than a ½”. At such point I would be frustrated that I didn’t have the correct size hole saw in my workshop for the job. I would have to run out to a big box home store or Sears and would buy one hole saw for the exact size I needed. Well over the years I have accumulated a few hole saws of various brands/quality and never felt that I had what I needed. Cut quality was always suspect at best with my makeshift assortment of hole saws. At least that was the before I found this kit on Amazon. This kit is extremely high quality and has many, many sizes for most tasks a handy homeowner/craftsman will run into. I have drilled several holes of various sizes with this kit and have been extremely pleased with the results. The case design is well thought out and keeps my workshop organized. Very happy with the purchase. Not only would I buy this again, but I will buy this as a gift for my family members/friends that can get use out of it but would never think to buy for themselves.

Hole saws work great. Nice set with a variety of sizes. Only drawback is that the carrying case is a little bit flimsy.

I am not a pro contractor, but have had enough of the cheap incomplete sets. This will come in handy while working on my house and rental properties. Could see it lasting my life time. For a contractor it will likely last most of your career.

I was excited about receiving the kit today!
I was really needing to use these on a project.
Tried drilling through sheet metal with the 3″ hole saw, less than 10seconds in and no teeth.
I couldn’t believe how soft the teeth were!!
I thought maybe I was mistaken and looked again at the blade closer, it says”bi-metal” … well.
I thought I would try to make a cut using another size in plywood, same thing happened!! In plywood!!
My hopes of having a quality product was gone in seconds.
I then applied for a refund.
I received a shipping return letter along with a notice of their policy of charging a 50% restocking fee.
I thought to myself, no way they could do that! These are definitely defective!
Today I received my “50%” refund..
I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER PRODUCT FROM THIS SELLER!!
when I clicked to buy the ad started product was from Milwaukee and prime.
Apparently that’s false!

I own other Milwaukee products and have never had any issues until these poor quality hole saws. BTW I finished my project using my Lenox blades the are several years old.

These things rock but I had quite a time getting going. I needed to cut 4″ holes in 1 3/4 inch depth of ply. A couple of notes 1) you can’t tell from the pic but the bits are not 1/4 hex, they are 9/16 or some odd size….. good luck finding an adaptor to get these working with a regular 1/4 hex driver. First I tried a hex nut to make the connection but it was too wobbly. The Dewalt chuck adaptor for the 1/4 hex didn’t work either (too small and it sucks) and there doesn’t appear to be an adaptor for s4s max either……. hmmm, surely something I have out there will run these things…… finally I pulled out an old dewalt drill that had a big enough chuck to hold the bits and I was off to the races. 2) Do the chuck up tight! 3) Make sure you are holding the damn drill with both hands, nice and strong, things can get wild with the bigger hole cutters and they can lock up really suddenly if you shove too hard or drop sideways, giving the drill and your arm a good twist.
I found that the drills cut a nice clean circle in laminate without chewing the edges, which was pleasing. Overall great tool.
