My life with milwaukee started almost forty years ago. I have been blessed with some of the finest made power tools. Has made me a better craftsman. always expensive, worth the extra cheddar spent. I still have and regularly use my oldest sawzall in the shop weekly. As for the new tools they put their name on some are very good and may last my lifetime. I doubt this milwaukee 25foot tape will. not a horrible construction, but could be much better. Still on the high end of price spectrum. not on the quality of construction I have come to expect from such a good name in tools.

I’ve never spent much on a tape measure so spending what I did on this one was definitely worth it. Great value for the money not being po’d every time I try to measure something.

I work as a pipe fitter and spend a lot of my day in the air in a pipe rack or in a lift several feet off the ground taking measurements. I dropped several tape measures all busting apart when they hit the pavement I dropped this one the other day from a tank 40 ft in the air. I didn’t bother to go get it because I knew it was trash but when I came down i walked over to it and picked it up it was like I never had dropped it works just like the day that I bought It. Great product I recommend anyone who uses a tape measure to buy this one

After reading some of the reviews I was a little worried that I purchased an inferior tape. I don’t think I did.
The magnet is strong and the tape does extend 9 feet and the operation is very smooth as is the brake. One day of use, so far so good. I know that isn’t anything but I wanted to compliment the unit out of the box. Of course, if you abuse it it may twist. My last one did. And the tape itself is plastic so it may even crack. One thing that lost a star was the body for inside measurements is supposed to be 3 1/2″ Mine is actually
3 19/32″. about 1/8″. 1/8″ can really foul things up. So measure yours before trusting the 3 1/2 inch stamp on the body.

This tape measure is definitely a high quality product when I ordered it I didn’t quite realize just how gigantic the thing would be but it’s not a dealbreaker by any means. You know what they say about guys with big tape measurers? Big tool bags.

Bought one for work. The blade is very stiff, so I can extend it up to 11 feet without it falling. Rubberized to grip easily. Has a lock, but also a cut out in the bottom so that you can press your finger against the tape and control its release and retract easily. The numbers are extra large and on both sides of the tape for easy reading. End as a magnet that I can latch onto beams for hands free measuring.
