I was sad to return the shoes due to poor fit. My feet are simply too gnarled from arthritis.

I love pretty much anything Lucky Brand, so once I got these and tried them on, I knew I would order another pair in another color. They’re comfortable, which has not always been the case with LB slingbacks. They resemble loafers but with the twist of having a slingback — great option for fall while the weather is still somewhat warm.

I ordered my usual size, and they were a little snug at the sides until I had worn them a few times. I have wide feet and go barefoot a lot, so sometimes it’s hard to find shoes that are comfortable. After the initial breaking-in, I’ve been able to wear them for a full day without any problems, although they don’t have any support. They do have some cushioning on the insole though. They are real leather, and I would suggest using a leather protectant on them before wearing. I got them wet, and they turned very dark. Once they dried, they were good as new, but I would just feel more comfortable with a water repellent treatment on them.

These shoes are really cute, and feel well made. Leather is so much harder to find these days. However, the sling back just doesn’t work with such a structured and a little stiff shoe. Sadly, I returned them.
