You can buy cheap hand tools for $5 and it will start rusting as soon as you open the package, and the rubber on the handle will start to slip off. If you actually need to use the tool, it will likely give you sub par performance.
Or you can spend $10 for a real Craftsman hand tool and get true performance and quality you can feel in your hand.
I’ve done both, many time over. Sometimes the temptation to buy cheap tools is too much to resist. After all, how complicated is it to produce a simple plier or wrench made of steel? Most of the time, I end up regretting buying the cheap tools.

I am a person who grew up using Craftsman tools. Since Sears and their brands were sold, I thought I would never be able to get them again. Appears to be well-made. I am not a tool person. I needed this to wrench open dried-on nail polish caps. It works well for that purpose. I’m sure I’ll find other uses for it. Lots of things in my domestic life get dried on and stuck. 🙂
