Look, these are Allen wrenches–there’s not a whole lot that differentiates one brand from another on appearance. However, these seem to be made of much harder metal than cheap sets, and the ball-end fit is perfect. The don’t seem to get “rounded” or “chewed” at all like my previous (cheap junk) set. These are great.

Unfortunately, many Craftsman tools have gone down in quality since the brand was sold by Sears. I have an old metric Craftsman ball end hex key set that has been outstanding over the years. I wanted to get a set of SAE wrenches, also. Even though Craftsman quality has waned, I ordered this SAE Craftsman Ball End Hex Key Set from Amazon, figuring I could return them if they were sub-par. Once they arrived and I put them to work, I found they were the same high quality as my old set of wrenches. I’m pleased. This Craftsman SAE Ball End Hex Key Set is much better quality than other Allen sets from the discount tool places. It’s a keeper.
