This is an unbelievably powerful laptop for its price range that’d have been the best thing ever if not for one ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS decision by Acer. This laptop boasts the powerful GTX 1060 that can support 4 monitors. Since it’s a laptop and not a PC, no one expects it have that many peripherals, but instead of putting at least 1 display port, or 1 thunderbolt port, or 1 mini- display port, Acer decided it’d be a great idea to have just one HDMI port. It can’t be daisy-chained neither can it be used with a splitter for extended displays.
But what about the USB-C? Yeah, the USB-C on this laptop only supports data output, not video. This is baffling. There is no workaround. You can’t output to 2 monitors with this laptop no matter what adapter you buy. If you’re purchasing this for multimedia editing, and have multi-monitor workflow, you might want to reconsider. The only way around is to purchase an external graphics card and change the BIOS setting to work with both cards at once.

My wife and I ordered this laptop after tons of shopping around, but there were problems. I will say that it’s a great machine, fast, and powerful, but it’s not a laptop, not right now at least until we buy a new charger for it… you know, to replace the BRAND NEW one that came with it. It will not charge at all. Seems like something that should have been tested before perhaps? We’re still hoping a new charger will fix it, but I’m not overly optimistic.
I wouldn’t be here writing a review if the company even bothered to respond, but they blew us off. The number they have is useless and the contact seller option via Amazon was ignored. So I can’t even say it’s bad customer service, because there isn’t any.
So if you do choose to buy from this seller, you’d better hope there aren’t any problems. I would assume they probably don’t do returns or anything else either since they won’t even talk to you. So here’s to you Holliday Electronics Deal, I hope this review costs you some business.

I am thoroughly impressed with this laptop. With some of the games I play,on my desktop, I will notice a light hesitation when the next area is loading. On this beast, its the smoothest I have experienced. Time will tell if it will last, but so far so good.
