As an RN starting out in the field of Medical Aesthetics, I think this book is fantastic. It’s clearly written, easy to read, and the step-by-step guidelines really helped me understand the procedures. This book is loaded with great pictures and illustrations that helped me learn how to identify many dermatologic conditions. The tables of topical products make this book a handy reference, too. I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in aesthetics!

If you buy this book for its content you will have really good information and pictures available, but If you buy it for the online videos to see the hands on procedures you will be disappointed. The explanation is very basic you can find better and free videos on YouTube about the same topic.
I would give 5 stars if the videos were better explained. I wanted to see the application from a medical point of view but the way they show it made me very disappointed.

A lot of illustrations are paired with excellent text for an aesthetician’s reference on how to perform numerous procedures. The diagrams are well done, and the step by step descriptions clearly written.
