TL;DR: If you’re here, you’re probably not sleeping right. Buy this device. It works wonders.
If you work night shift, you know how unhealthy and deeply unsatisfying sleep is. More accurately, lack of sleep: I would just sit awake in bed, the sun coming up, and wait for it to be time to get ready for work again. I’d doze off three or four times a morning, just barely being able to nap, and by the last cycle of nap-wake up-repeat it would be time to drag myself out of bed.
This simple, inexpensive product has almost solved this issue. Is it perfect? No, nothing is, but this does better than any OTC medication I’ve tried to date and doesn’t have to be ordered twice a month. Nor will it destroy your kidneys or hormonal balance, and it’s side effect free.
This is soft, very soft, and once it warms up you can barely even feel it aside from a very slight pressure. Maybe pressure isn’t even the right word, it’s just kind of “there”. If you’re a side sleeper like me, don’t worry about the speakers: you have enough padding on the inside for it to rest comfortably over the ear. I’ve tried sleep earbuds before this, and while the noise isolation was much better simply because they’re in the ear, this does far better for comfort.
Battery life is exceptional. I can get 2 nights reliably on one charge, which only takes about 20 minutes. When I come home, i plug it in, and by the time dinner is ready the device is charged. I never have to worry about it being bricked from a forgotten charge.
Audio quality is more than acceptable for the purpose. The speakers are intentionally quiet, as they should be. You don’t need a blasting top end for volume with these, you’re trying to sleep. Sound is clear, with the same barely perceptible distortion you’d find on any bluetooth device. Any kind of music will be fine, as is my use case. If you’re one of *those people* who listens to ASMR, this should be fine, not that I would know after not ever using this for ASMR at any point. Really. I promise.
Lastly, if for some reason you decide the bluetooth just isn’t for you, it’s designed to have the whole system removed for cleaning. So, technically, you could rip the techno-guts out of this and store it somewhere and have a perfectly good normal sleep mask.
If you are an insomniac, if you work night shift, or if you just want quiet music at night: buy this device. It’s so cheap for what it gets you: drug-free sleep.

Update: I’ve been using this nightly for a week or so and have come to love it. First, the sound cut outs – I realized that the bluetooth on my clock radio was still on, and that’s what was causing the cut-outs in sound – turned it off and it’s no longer an issue. Second, this has a very very long battery life. I use it anywhere from 1 to 7 hours a night and I just now today put it on the charger for the first time. Last, it’s still WAY too big for my face, so I just use my Alaska Bear sleep mask over my eyes and push this one up on my forehead. Hey, it works and I can sleep. Definitely a great product, highly recommend!
I was excited to get this, I listen to meditation and binaural music while I sleep and could never find headphones that would let me sleep ‘normally’. I’ve used it the past 2 nights and here’s what I found:
Pros:
Easy to pair
Good sound – (at least for my usage) both bass and treble
Soft and plush against your skin
Cons:
Velcro closure – if you have hair, it will get caught
Finally, the last Con is not the company’s fault, it’s mine – it’s too big! I have a really tiny head and this covers not only my eyes but a good bit of my forehead and if I position it so the speakers are on my ears, covers my nose and cuts off air. Ugh. I need a child sized version to really be effective but for now I just push it up on my forehead and use my old Sleep Mask. *sigh* Not the company’s fault, though! This is a great product and if you have a normal sized head, you’ll love it.

I absolutely love this mask! The mask did come in odd packaging that did have a bit of a smell that was not great.. but I have had this mask a year or more and love it. It is SO comfortable and if you do not like masks that sit right on your eyes, this one is perfect as the cushions help to feel less restricted and more comfortable and relaxed. The headphones feature is amazing and the sound quality is top-notch. The best part is that if you sleep next to a partner who does not want to hear the sound, they cannot hear it! The mask is easy to charge up and use and it is very durable. The bluetooth connects very easily and is extremely easy to use. I was extremely happy with the value of this mask for the price. I would buy this item again. Also would be great for flying to use to listen to music and rest your eyes. I have never liked facemasks or was able to keep them on and this one is so comfortable and designed so well that I could leave it on all night!
