This is well made and very easy to use. We use it mostly for trimming tree branches. A small 2a battery lasts very long before needing recharge.

The compact reciprocating saw is as is and very handy to have and alot easier handling than the full size electric one that i have. It works awesome for what I use it for, it’s just an awesome tool all around

This Dewalt Atomic 20V MAX* Reciprocating Saw (DCS369B) looks, feels, and works almost like a switchblade when you use it. You can grab it, direct it, and slice cut fast — all with one hand. I have it with me every time I’m in the yard. Seemingly endless battery life, very little vibration, plus a nice low noise level.
I originally bought the Dewalt 20V MAX* XR Reciprocating Saw, Compact (DCS367B). However, it was too heavy, oversized, and vibrated a lot, so I returned it.
I also have the Dewalt 20V MAX XR Cordless Drill 1/2 inch which is super lightweight and unstoppable too.
I’m often in the yard at first light and do lots of yardwork, from grass and beds to trees. I’ve been using cordless electric tools for 10+ years, and their battery life, power, and ergonomics have just become more and more superb.

My new go-to gardening/landscaping tool. Lightweight (less than 5 pounds with a 3 AH battery), versatile, ergonomically comfortable (easy to switch from left hand to right hand when getting into tight spots), easy to use one or two handed. Using with 3AH batteries – gives me plenty of time to work. I always need a break before my fully charged saw runs out of battery life.
FYI – this is not in use for mere landscape maintenance. Husband (with chainsaw) and I have been slowly hand-clearing quick growing invasive trees from a half acre lot. You can’t imagine how fast these demon trees grow lol. Chainsaw is too heavy for me and way too much maintenance. This wonderful “grab and go” tool is a game-changer, allowing me to get into tight places my husband hasn’t had a chance to get to yet. Easily saws through up to 4” branches, would probably do more, but safety first. Also cuts through roots with no worries about running into rocks (my carbide blades actually cut cleanly through rocks – just once by accident, but boy was I surprised).
The only thing it won’t do is cut thin, floppy branches. Since the saw goes back and forth, it just grabs those and shakes them. Minor, since I can easily cut those with loppers anyway.
I would have gotten one of these years ago if I had known how life-changing it would be. Love this tool! 🙂

Used upon receiving. Cut away conifer branches on 15 large conifers prior to cutting down. Used 2 5ah batteries and Lennox blades. Let the saw do the work. I was dreading the job but did it with ease. Quoted £150 for the work so got a free saw, money left over and a day in the sun. Lightweight, compact and handy. Very happy with purchase.

Uses the same blades as my larger saw and works just as well I like the compact size and uses the same battery as my other DeWalt tools.
