Been using this light for the last few weeks as it gets darker around my house in winter but still wanna wrap up some outside chores (leaf blowing) or lighting up a space when the breaker is off and replacing an outlet etc. I, keeping in and or around the kitchen in a large drawer or closet, battery charges fast.
Super bright, lasts a good while using on dewalts battery of all sizes. of course a larger battery will give ya more time, but I was surprised how long the basic battery that came with my impact driver lasted on high brightness.
Considering it as a holiday gift for someone w/dewalt tools already.

Cool work light. Runs a long time off 1.5 ah power stack battery. Very bright and adjustable. Little costly for a work light but I got on sale and since I have a bunch of Dewalt batteries I went ahead. I love Dewalt stuff but would honestly say I wouldn’t buy this at full price. It’s a light. It’s a nice one but it’s not magical or anything.
It’s regular price is 80-90$. Luckily you can find it on sale fairly regularly for about 55$.
For 55$ it’s worth it if you already have dewalt stuff (batteries) otherwise I’d skip it for a less expensive option.

I’ve been happy with all dewalt products I’ve bought so far. Just quality built things, at least for now.
Here’s the bad things I have to say about it:
The light output is very bright and in a small area it can be overwhelming particularly if you need to put the light in front of you, it will end up being too bright, even on the low setting.
If you have the smaller battery pack (like in my picture) it won’t stand up on its own with the head tilted all the way back (so that the light faces upwards). It will fall over. With the larger battery pack the additional weight will keep it from falling backwards.
With the (small) 2Ah battery on high setting it will not last all day, either. Maybe 3-4 hours? I’m not sure exactly. When it’s running low the light starts blinking to warn you, and switches to low output, but still will only last a couple more minutes so you need to rush to get that new battery if that would leave you in the dark.
But this is the benefit of a battery light, you can just swap it out real quick, or buy a larger one for the job.
I’m 10/10 on it, love it. Well worth it.

This is the Dewalt DCL050 Type 12 version which is 300 lumens on low and 1000 lumens on high. It is more than sufficient lighting when working in one spotted area inside or outside. It is very useful when working on electrical switches, HVAC, or anything in the dark. The light bends 90 degrees and bends the opposite direction also. It is light weight so it can be easily handheld anywhere for convenience. I used a 20V max 1.5amp Dewalt battery which is the least powered battery but it lasted more than 3 hours and was still going after I finished my job on the 300 lumens setting. It also has a hook if you need to hang it. It is definitely worth buying especially if you already have Dewalt batteries. If you need to see far away or light up an entire room then you would need to consider other Dewalt flash lights or alternative but for everyday use, for spot areas, this is the best flashlight. It will not blind your eyes. It is just right. I strongly recommend this item!

Super bright using a 6ah battery lasts hours and hours. Has 2 different light settings well worth the 50 bucks! Light weight and quality

I use these for all kinds of work. The level of brightness is great, and the adjustable angle really helps. There is also a hook on top that allows you to hang this from rafters and hooks. One push you get full brightness, second push and half brightness. Third push to turn it off.
I still have the fluorescent version from the 14.4v line. That still works, but the LED version is much better.
I now have two of these. The new one seems just as sturdy as the one I’ve been using for several years. A 5Ah battery lasts all day. The 2Ah battery lasts hours, but not all day. The heavier batteries help keep this light more stable when it’s sitting on a counter or the floor.
If you, like me, have DeWalt batteries, this is a great work light.

I recently got my hands on this 20V LED work light after wanting one for a long time, and let me tell you, it’s been a game changer for my projects. The brightness is just stellar – it lights up the entire area I’m working in, which is super helpful. I’ve used it for everything from fixing things around the house to outdoor camping, and it hasn’t let me down. Much better than your traditional flashlight
What I really like about this light is how versatile it is. It has these adjustable angles, so I can set it up just the way I need it for any job. It’s got a couple of brightness settings, which is pretty handy. I’ve been using it with my Dewalt 20V batteries, and the battery life is impressive. It lasts long enough for me to get my work done without constant recharging.
I can’t find anything bad about it. In the video, the 2 light brightness settings are not properly reflected, but in reality, there is a difference in luminosity between the two settings.

I have several Dewalt 20 volt lights, but the two of these are the ones that I use the most.
They are lightweight, depending somewhat on the battery you use, have a flex head and 2 brightness levels.
Very useful working on vehicles, appliances, or various other projects.
