  1. M. Davis

This tool is really good when needing to handle jobs where breaking out the full-sized or corded versions are not feasible. Don’t get me wrong, it is very strong and capable machine for many/most jobs – anything up to 2×4,2×6,etc. anyway.

I found it very useful when working in the attic, tight spaces, or when the corded version would be more work moving around. This saw was easy to keep handy in a bag, pouch, etc. I was pleasantly surprised at the battery life for the portability.

It fits right in to my other Dewalt products.

I have several 7 1/2 saws and bought this smaller 4 1/2 saw on a whim, but instantly fell in love with it. It’s a lot easier to grab and use than my bigger saws but does the same job in most cases. Very happy with this purchase.

For the last few years every time I use two gates at my house I think “I really need to get these fixed!” Two of my wooden gates had sagged over time, and the screws and bolts were rusted so I could not just raise them. I got this in the mail, read the directions, assembled it, and within 10 minutes had trimmed the bottom of two gates and now they work like a charm! Not bad for a nurse who is learning to do those kinds of things for herself! This will be a very useful tool!

The DEWALT ATOMIC 20V MAX* Circular Saw delivers impressive performance in a compact and portable design. Despite its smaller size, this circular saw packs a punch with its powerful motor, effortlessly cutting through various materials with precision and ease.

One of the standout features of this saw is its ergonomic design, which allows for comfortable and controlled operation, reducing user fatigue during extended use. The lightweight construction makes it easy to maneuver, even in tight spaces or overhead applications.

The 4-1/2-inch blade size may seem small compared to traditional circular saws, but it offers the advantage of increased maneuverability and versatility, making it ideal for a wide range of cutting tasks. Whether I’m working on trim, plywood, or other materials, this saw delivers consistent and accurate results every time.

The built-in dust blower helps keep the cutting line clear of debris, improving visibility and accuracy. Additionally, the tool-free depth adjustment and bevel capacity enhance convenience and efficiency, allowing for quick and easy adjustments on the fly.

Overall, the DEWALT ATOMIC 20V MAX* Circular Saw is a reliable and efficient tool for both professional contractors and DIY enthusiasts

Desde que la tengo he disminuido el uso de mi sierra circular. Me proporciona cortes bastante precisos con la ayuda de una guía y la puedo transportar más fácilmente. No me arrepiento para nada de la compra

Always works the way dewalt tools work with no problems just quality tools

I bought this DCS571 4-1/2-inch circular saw for cutting sheets of plywood without access to a table-saw nor a 110-volt outlet. I thought about taking one star off because the manufacturer does not provide a proper adaptor for connecting the saw to a non-DeWalt vacuum system (not in the box, that is, but only for sale separately). You’ll have to buy the DWV9000 adaptor (allows you to connect to some DeWalt brand hoses) and a DWV9190 adaptor to connect to other vacuum brands. I didn’t doc any points, however, because of how well this saw works to get the assigned job done. Cutting long cuts in 1/2- and 3/4-inch thick 4×8 plywood is like slicing through warm butter. So much so that yesterday as I was making the last of several cuts my wife said, casually, “Did you just cut through the sawhorse?” Yep – the saw didn’t buck, didn’t screech and didn’t even slow down. I made a perfectly clean, straight cut through the plywood AND the 1-inch x 1-inch steel horizontal bar of that slick little Craftsman folding sawhorse. What an amazing saw! I’m headed off to buy a new set of sawhorses.

La compre para hacer pequeñas cosas,no soy experto , está muy práctica está sierra .

I already own a full size framing saw and even a mid size cordless circular saw, so I really thought I did not need this saw at all. I ended up buying it on a whim, thinking it might be handy for trimming some vinyl floor or perhaps doing small jobs around the house.

Now it has become one of my most used tools. I’ve used it for drywall, plywood, fencing, flooring, and even an occasional 2×4. It is just a great light, versatile saw that requires no setup and cuts great. Unless I have a big cutting job to do, I’ll always reach for this saw first.

For example, recently I had some bad sections of decking to remove, but I did not want to replace the entire 12 foot deck boards because the screws are all shot, and I wanted to minimize damage to the joists. So I set this saw to the right depth and did a precise plunge cut over the joists, and then finished the cut with an oscillating tool. Then I used the mini saw to cut the portion I wanted to replace up and then cut off the rusted screws with a dremel.

This is a super handy tool – great for small projects, and more useful than a large circular saw for most casual users, though I’m sure a pro would find many uses for it as well.

I wish they had this a long time ago. Lol I’m using it for cutting pieces to install flooring. Save you from having to get up and down going to like a table saw to rip the long side edges. Then instead of using a chop saw you can just rip all the short pieces too. Saved a lot of time and having to get up and down. I have a rotation of two 4 amp batteries and I find the the weight balance of the tool to be good. Highly recommend this tool.
