We ordered this to keep on our motorhome. It works great and WAY better than expected. I already had the Craftsman 20V tools and batteries. I love the small battery charger it came with. All works great with great suction.
A+ 10of10

Just purchased and so far love it. My husband has craftsman tools in his garage so we have additional batteries that are interchangeable which is awesome !!! Means I could vacuum all day long lol.
I find the low setting not that good for suction but high has great suction.
Great for dog hair!! Picks up so much !!!
Recently had a dyson 7 and had tons of issues with it, so far feel this seems more well built and vacuums just as well. So hoping this craftsman will be alot more durable than our dyson was.

Hicimos pruebas con otras aspiradoras del mercado similares, todas más caras y menos potentes. Esta definitivamente fue la mejor opción

Works fantastic, great suction, love the washable filter, and it’s low profile fits under bed, tables, chairs……Just a great product!

I decided to buy this vacuum mainly because I have another craftsman tool that uses the same battery. I really like the light on the front of this vacuum. Wow, I had no idea how much dust was on my floor! That light really lets you see what it is picking up. The battery life on high is about 30 minutes. The suction is pretty good. My only real complaint is that the wheels keep falling off while I use it. They pop right back on, but ii is still a pain to deal with.
I have had it for two months now and use it nearly every day. It is very versatile. Light weight but sturdy. Easy to break down from full sized vacuum to hand held unit. Overall a good purchase.

I just Received mine and I’ve used it a couple times it seems to have good suction and the battery lasts like it says about an hour. There are two speeds and the low speed Pick up great. We have a cleaning service and I bought this for that and it did an awesome job and I will be purchasing a couple more It is a great product for the price

I have all wood or tile floors. This is the trick!!! Picks up dog and cat hair, gets under chairs, piano, couch with ease, and easy to dump the waste container. Craftsman battery lasts. The only issue I have is the right wheel wants to come off, so you stop, pop it right back, and go. Minor issue, and I may glue the little bugger on!! Otherwise great vacuum!!

It really is a great vacuum
Love that I can use batteries for different tools that also work in the vacuum

The suction of this Craftsman “stick vacuum” is unimaginably poor.
I opened the box and, while waiting for the battery to charge, I inserted another 20V Craftsman (genuine) battery that I had received earlier that day. This battery was 100% charged. I had used it with the drill I received earlier that day and it worked fine, so I know there was no problem with the battery. And I had charged it again after that brief use. I inserted the battery and turned on the vacuum, without attaching anything else. No bottom brush part, and no long extension tube, and neither of the two ancillary plastic nozzles that you can use. Just the main part of the vacuum, with the handle and the vacuum motor and the part that captures the dirt, and the battery. I put my hand very close to the open end, and felt very little air flow, then I put my hand right on the open end, and felt a surprisingly low level of suction. It was so poor, in fact, that I sure that something had to be wrong, so I checked and made certain that the dirt bucket was properly inserted and that the hinged cover was snug. It was all okay.
By coincidence it happened that my fourteen-year-old Hoover upright floor vacuum was just a few feet away from where I had opened the new Craftsman stick vacuum. With this vacuum there is a section of flex hose on the rear that routes over a curved support and then sticks down into a tube that leads down to the bottom where the roller brush is. When you want to use it as a floor vacuum, you stick the hose in that tube, and when you want to use it with an extension tube and a nozzle, you pull the hose out of that tube and use it another way. So all I had to do was pull the hose out and place my hand over the opening and turn on the switch. Immediately my hand was pulled firmly against the opening at the end of the hose. The amount of force I had to use to pull my hand away was much, much greater than what it was with the Craftsman stick vacuum. The difference was night and day. There just wasn’t any comparison at all. With the Craftsman stick vacuum, I could barely feel any suction, and with my hand an inch or two away from the opening, I could barely feel any air flow.
Based on this, I concluded the obvious: the suction with this Craftsman stick vacuum is nowhere close to what it would need to be in order for this vacuum to be of any use whatsoever. It is complete, utterly useless. There was no need for me to try it out on spilled Cheerios. I unplugged the charger, separated the battery from the charger, removed my other fully charged battery, and put the whole thing back into the box for immediate return.
Because I’ve never tried another stick vacuum, I’m not able to make or share any comparison with other stick vacuums. But if they are all like this, they are all categorically useless. I suspect that generally they are not very good, but I also suspect that generally they are not as poor as this one. The craftsman stick vacuum uses a paper filter that resembles a car engine air filter, and which should not be overly restrictive, but this also depends on the porosity of the paper used to make the filter. The suitable degree of porosity depends on the strength of the vacuum produced by the motor and fan. In addition to that primary filter, there is also a “pre-filter” inside the small canister. It may be that the combined effect of the two filters is just too much for the inherent flow and negative pressure of the motor and fan. It it may be that the motor-fan just isn’t strong enough. In either case, the bottom line is that the amount of suction you get with this thing is perhaps 10% of the amount of suction that you would want to have.
In addition to the suction problem, my visual inspection found two other problems, both related to the hinged lid of the small canister. First, it doesn’t seal as tightly as it should. If I were to design something like this, it would not have a hinged flap. Instead, it would have a lid that uses cams to lock it securely to the canister. The other problem is that the catch that keeps the lid in the closed position looked much to flimsy to me. As soon as I looked closely at it, my immediate thought was it would break off long before the end of life for the vacuum motor or the rotating brush, which would lead to the early demise of something that I had paid about $150 for.
Finally, I thought that the rotating brush at the bottom was too heavy for this type of vacuum. My primary intended use was for vacuuming the carpeted stairs in my three-story residence, because it is difficult to vacuum stairs using the aforementioned upright Hoover. The bottom end of the Craftsman stick vacuum, which I would attach to the upper end without the extension tube for this use, seemed a bit heavier than ideal for this use. But I would have tolerated that, if only the vacuum had been adequate, which it was decidedly not.

This the third cordless stick vac I’ve tried, the other two being a Moosoo and a Hover. The Hover worked reasonably well for a year or so, but it was difficult to clean and had a short battery life. While it worked, it did a fairly decent job. The second, after watching endless reviews was the Moosoo, which turned out to have a short run time and poor suction, and which finally broke a small part that made it inoperable.
The Craftsman vac was going to be my final cordless stick vac purchase before I threw in the towel and just lived with the corded versions. I was, however, very pleased. Some of these cordless vacs can run to many hundreds of dollars, but I can’t imagine that any of them are going to perform better.
This vac is nearly as good as a corded conventional vac. It has a long run-time and great suction. I bought it partly because I already owned another Craftsman cordless tool (a pole saw), which is on the same battery system and which also turned out to be a surprisingly good tool.
Since I have the additional battery, I just swap out batteries when one runs low, and I never have any down time. I liked it so much, I recommended the sweeper to my sister, who is also quite pleased.
To sum up, it’s well made, has good run-time, good suction, stands upright by itself, and is reasonably easy to clean. I haven’t seen it tested by Consumer Reports, but would hope they would rate it highly.
