  1. ItinOcean

It’s inexpensive and compatible with my Milwaukee battery set, so I love it. I understand it may not last long, especially if abused, but already put it to work and was pretty happy with it for general brushing and chopping kindling. I wouldn’t expect it to hold up for real lumbering, but it did manage to go through limbs up to the bar length without much issue and held up to some haphazard brushing.

This is one of the best tool values I have ever experienced. This saw works great. I’ve used it extesively over the last 6 months. What a great buy

Got this chainsaw yesterday, I put it to work today and I am beyond impressed. I live on an acreage in the forest and have lots of dreadfall tress, I also have a very powerful gas chainsaw with a 20 inch bar. This little chainsaw was amazing cut through 6 inch Alder like a hot knife through butter. Loved that my Milwaukee batteries fit this as I have lots of those. Nice light chainsaw easy one hand operation, my wife Loves it as she ihe will not use the big gas chainsaw. My 1 little criticism is that the bar oil tank is small, goes through the oil fairly quick, I ended up blending my heavier weight bar oil with the oil they supplied and now the oil lasts much longer with way less fling off.
    Highly recommend this cordless chainsaw!!

Perfect to trim trees and trim bushes I use it to chop logs for my fire place just an all around amazing tool

  5. Martin Lavoie

    Works amazingly

  6. patricia sohn

It does exactly what you’d expect using the high quality batteries you already own. Cuts really fast with nice big chips and replacement chains are cheaper than trying to get these little chains sharpened. I did notice the bar loosening a bit while working. I maybe had to tighten it twice while draining a full 5 amphr battery.

I was going to buy the Milwaukee but I for whatever reason decided to give this a try. To my surprise it works fantastic. It does go through the oil a little bit but it’s not as bad as some of the reviews I’ve read. Plus it takes so little oil that it’s great for me. I own several chainsaws including a husqvarna with a 24″ bar. So I’m not some city boy who doesn’t know anything about saws. I use a couple of 5 amp hour batteries and haven’t had a single problem.

  8. Martin lewis

I love this chainsaw. Its light , powerful, lasts a good while on one battery, and my bateries are old. The teeth are sharp, oiler works great, the chain is absolutely simple and quick to tighten. Takes about 10 to 20 seconds, no tools needed. I highly recommend this. $69 well spent!

  9. Lzy&Ckt

Gotta say this thing is powerful, an cuts very nice. M18 battery fits perfect an always can rely on. Comes with a extra 8 inch cutting blade also if you wanna change out the 6 inch blade. Super easy to use also comes with oil for the blade which is convenient, but should still buy your own oil.

  10. Deuce and Guns

I used this for camping this past summer worked great, altho goes through the chain oil they provide. eats right through it because how thin it is.

BUT once you start using real chain oil ! works amazing ! I use this now on the Job as a groundsman for an Arborist company and instead of a pull pruner this is MUCH SMOOTHER and CLEANER of a cut.
Highly recommend this for home, camping or work.

side note of course Not using this on big cuts or chopping up firewood, although have taken and chopped up small dead wood/trees, but mostly use this to Trim small trees.

I own plenty of Milwaukee tools and batteries, and this chainsaw is a fantastic value less than half the price of a Milwaukee saw but still performs great for the price. It’s lightweight, easy to use with one hand, and cuts really well. It even comes with two chains and blades (one 6-inch and one 8-inch).

I noticed some complaints about it not coming with a battery, but that’s pretty standard for tool users. To clarify, “M18” means it uses Milwaukee’s M18 batteries. Batteries are expensive but designed to last a long time, and one battery can power all your M18 tools, making the tools themselves cheaper since you’re not buying a battery each time. So, for those of us who already have batteries, this $60 chainsaw is a steal. For reference, red tools take Milwaukee batteries, yellow tools take DeWalt batteries, and blue tools take Makita batteries.

I used a 6.0 Ah battery, which lasted about 30 minutes, then switched to a 12.0 Ah, which lasted all day and still had 3 bars of power left. My only complaint is that it uses a lot of oil and needed frequent refills, though it came with a decent sized bottle that lasted a week of daily use for clearing trees and cutting firewood.

I decided I would give this saw a try because it was $200 less than a Milwaukee and it was 18V as opposed to 12v. This is a neat little saw. It comes with 6” and 8” beams. I used the 6” beam with a genuine Milwaukee M18 5.0Ah battery. It cut quickly and cleanly. I put quite a bit of force into some of my cuts and, for the most part, the saw performed well. I only stalled the motor twice, and that was when I let off the trigger and tried to re-start mid-cut. I am giving this 4 stars instead of 5 because of the tensioner. I re-tightened the chain 4 times while making the first 10 cuts. I don’t know if this is due to break-in stretch or wear of the chain, or inability of the tensioner to hold tension. I have not used a genuine Milwaukee for comparison, but this doesn’t seem right. Still, for $70, it is a joy to use and I will put up with the tensioner. The cardboard box has a nice organizer foam insert. A real soft case or hard case would have been the perfect finishing touch.

I was skeptical but had good reviews so decided to give it a try. Worth every penny, so much easier to cut wood, shrubs abd do chores around the yard. I even take it with me camping.
