Perfect fit for my DeWalt DWE 402 grinder. (Not included.) ;O). Note in my first image you have to rotate the safety guard using it’s quick release for the grinder to fit. This is by design as the case is molded so the grinder can’t move around once the case is closed. Very sturdy case should add to the life of the grinder. Both will probably out live me if at all like my other DeWalt tools.

We got a new grinder and were disappointed that Dewalt didn’t provide a case so the search began. I was a bit skeptical with the photo of the product but it was exactly what we needed.

Took a chance…wasn’t sure if it would fit for my new Dewalt DCG409VSB but fit perfectly. After I got it in, I squeezed in a 5 amp battery, handle, hex wrench…I then added goggles and the instruction manual (see pictures). Perfect! Hate the price of the case ($54) but loved that I got everything to fit in it.

I purchased this after doing some checking and though websites didn’t say if my DCG413 (or the 413B) would fit, I bought this to see if did. The box will fit the DCG 413 (and the 413B) 4.5 inch cordless grinder without having to take the grinder disk and shield off. The handle when disconnected slips underneath the grinder and my disconnected DCB205 5 amp lion battery fits in the side pocket. However, I rated this a four since what good is a case when the battery DCB115 charger or any charge not fit in the box. Box should be bigger to allow the charger to be stored with it for a 5 rating better if two batteries could be stored in box.
As a side note: it looks like the battery wouldn’t have to be disconnected if it is thinner such as the 2.5 amp lion batteries. But since I don’t have those, one will have to check to see if it does; otherwise, disconnect it and put in side pocket. My 5 amp would allow everything to go in the box without disconnecting it barely, but the lid wouldn’t close because the height/length of the battery is to big.
Probably can’t get electrical cord grinders to fit in box. Some will have to try it to find out…
