Description

Imagine spending years of your life working for someone else, unknowingly compromising your health, all the while believing you’re reaping benefits. It sounds like a dreadful nightmare, doesn’t it? Unfortunately, this is the reality for countless women and an increasing number of men when it comes to their skincare regimen. Entranced by endless practices and products promising eternal youth, skincare consumers are being deceived.

This book is a wake up call and a must-read for anyone who uses skincare products.

Dr. Yuval Bibi, MD, PhD, a highly respected Board Certified Dermatologist, has made a disheartening revelation throughout his years of experience—the skincare industry is predominantly a scam. But how does this industry manage to manipulate people into using its products?

In Sick Skin, we embark on a comprehensive exploration of the skincare industrial complex, also known as The SIC. We uncover its strategies, expose its fallacies, and even shed light on some of its advantages. You will liberate yourself from the grasp of the SIC matrix and perceive the industry for what it truly is.

In the second part of this book, we delve into an intriguing concept—Skinese, the language of your skin. With this newfound understanding, you will decipher the important messages your skin conveys and know precisely how to respond to them. Equally crucial, you will learn what actions to avoid, preventing yourself from digging deeper into the metaphorical hole.

This book represents a true revolution, granting individuals the freedom to reclaim their agency and empowering them to take responsibility for their own skin health.

  1. Matt Lawrence

This book applies to everyone, whether you are new to the subject or if you have an established skin care regimen. I wish i had this information sooner. Great work, Dr. Bibi!

  2. Amazon Customer

Dr. Bibi, skillfully describes the drivers behind the $150-$200 Billion mega-market controlled by the Skincare Industrial Complex, SIC.

A must read if you scratch your after watching/reading skincare ads on TV or in print! Especially is you are saying, “How could they say that? Or what the heck is an amino-protein – that does not exist”

I really liked how he warns the reader if any company making any political statement as part of their advertising campaign (regardless of your affiliation)

Dr. Bibi is a patient advocate, not a product advocate. Hoping my wife enjoys the read as much as I did – it could save us a fortune while minimizing unknown risks and complications.

  3. Manny shoshan

Dr yuval Bibi is one of a kind.
I have had a skin condition for 35 years, tried everything on the market on and off the shelf.
    After one treatment- it’s gone.
I can’t get over how easy, painless and fast wat the treatment.
    I highly recommend!

Sick Skin is an enjoyable and highly informative read. The book is filled with various surprising revelations about the skincare industry with a fresh perspective on products and practices. As a parent, I found the skincare guide extremely detailed and helpful.

  5. Keren

Great read! The author’s analysis of the skincare industry should give all of us a pause. Some of the revelations in this book regarding inactive ingredients and the literal utter pervasive disregard in the industry for the microbiome are quite shocking. The skincare guide provided here is a true gem and a great asset for parents of children!

  6. Tzvi Magril

Dr. Bibi sheds light into the black box of the skincare. The book transfers knowledge and includes useful information, which the reader can benefit from. The knowledge should be spread.

  7. BigBadBob

The book covers a wide range of skincare topics, including the science behind different skin types, effective daily routines, and practical tips for achieving a radiant complexion. Dr. Yuval Bibi effortlessly demystifies complex skincare jargon, making it accessible to both beginners and skincare enthusiasts.

  8. Amir Sachs

I was hesitant to buy this one with so many books out there about this subject but was curious because of Dr. Bibi’s unusual credentials and was pleasantly surprised. This book takes a completely new approach to the world of skincare culture showing the actual mechanics of how manufacturers create the illusion in a true wizard of Oz fashion. The tips and insights included will surely be huge time and money savers. Well done!
