Like many, I am deep into the M18 system (damn batteries are insane, but how can you switch?) but I had a corded version of this tool and it used to drive me nuts so I tried this. If you have the batteries already, definitely worth the switch.
**Heads up** Shop around, a lot, as there are many deals on tool packages including chargers, batteries etc… that will save you serious cash in the long run. Do not impulse buy. This is a great tool, with a ton of uses and solidly built.

as advertised

Great little tool if you hang sheetrock for a living. Don’t waste your time buying this if you just do repairs or occasionally hang sheetrock. You will never use it. Just keep using your sheetrock saw. Less dust and keep a lighter tool bag.

Another great product from Milwaukee tool.
The M18 Cut Out Tool makes short work for cutting out electric boxes, windows, doors, anything you may run into while hanging drywall. It’s light weight at 1.8lbs or 0.816 kg. Milwaukee claims it delivers up to 20% faster cuts than other tools in the market.
I can’t speak to that, but I can tell you that it is fast, well built, and affordable. A great tool to add to your collection.

The tool is awesome. But I had to go buy new bits as the supplied ones broke off shortly after turning power on. It’s like they are off balance and after 2 seconds of vibrating they break off n fly!

This is such a good tool. No longer struggling with the hand tool. It cuts drywall so easily. Loved it!
