Nice little tool box

The plastic latch is poorly designed and can fall off if you open it at an angle. Overall build quality is average.

Tool box for small tools.

My old tool organizer broke. Many choices on Amazon, but I wanted the same size like the old one, not too big or heavy, just enough to carry it around holding essential tools, nails, screws, etc. I am happy with it in general. I like the design and the size, but it would be better if the top can be open all the way to the back so it doesn’t close on my hand without constantly holding the top to keep it open. The plastic material doesn’t seem very sturdy, which is not a big problem for me since I don’t use it too often.

Nice sturdy tool box with a secure closing lid and enough space to keep tools for the house

Just the right size “Craftsman Tool Box” for around my home, and in my truck when I travel. Yes, I am a Craftsman fan, and I plan to fill my new tool box with only Craftsman tools. As a female, I did not have a tool box or tools. I relied on my husbands tools, and later my kids tools. They liked Craftsman as well.
Craftsman and Winnie the Pooh are synonymous with Sears Roebuck & Co, and they both will forever be iconic legends in my book. I proudly worked for, and retired from Sears after 23 years. I may be sentimental… but that is not why I recommend this Craftsman Tool Box or recommend the Craftsman Tools. I knew I wanted Craftsman, but there were so many sizes, it was difficult to decide which one will be perfect for my needs. I wrote down all the sizes on paper, pulled out my Craftsman tape measure, and narrowed out the boxes that were too long, not deep enough, or too big. Honestly, I was not sure about this box, the great price made me ask myself… would it be too small? So, I tell you the truth. I recommend this box because the size is just right for a basic set of tools. Not too big or too small. The handle grip is strong, I can add a lock… and it is proudly made in the USA! What’s not to like? This Craftsman Tool Box looks tough, and just like its tools will likely stand the test of time in durability. 🙂

I am glad I bought this because the size is great, but the plastic latch sometimes falls off and I don’t trust it to hold when it is heavy from many tools. I have a larger craftsman toolbox that has metal in the latch. I wish this box, which is a great small size, had a sturdier latch.

Perfect little addition to my to collection

Wet sturdy and even holds my hammer. Has a bottom compartment to put misc tools. I live having my most used tools all in one place.

I ordered a bigger toolbox wanting something I could shove ALL my crafting tools, home repair tools, computer repair tools, everything into and make it one space where I could find everything.
My first reaction upon receiving it was, oh no, what have I done! It’s huge!
My second reaction was oh, I see, it holds precisely two cats.
They didn’t seem to mind the harsh rubbery smell coming from the inside of the box, but I did, so I left it open (apparently as a cat bed) to let the smell disperse.
I’m thrilled with the box. It’s the perfect size for someone with slightly too many power tools and lives in an apartment to own (in my defense, the walls are concrete, and putting stuff up on 3m tape is not always an option).
It stacks with the other 16-inch Mastercraft boxes, especially the one with the included dolly, so I could absolutely see this being a great way to cart around non-huge items without worrying about the safety of expensive tools inside.
On its own, it’s lightweight but very durable (I might have dropped it once). There’s nothing super exciting about the inside, just a removable tray, but there are others that have extra shelves etc. I appreciate the lack of anything as it lets me put my tools in while still in their protective foam, in whatever order I want.
Of course, now it no longer fits even one cat, and they are very mad about this fact. Paste has taken to sleeping on top of items anytime I open it, and Copy just gives me disgusted looks every time I pull it out. So do mind cat judgement… or maybe get a second one for them?

As you can tell I use it for a first aid kit while I’m at home and take along when on the road. I liked creating my own as to having just what I wanted in it and higher quality products than what you get in most prepackaged kits. This box worked perfectly for what I wanted.

Great quality and brand name. Fits our in-house screwdriver set that does not get overly used very well. Lots of room for tools for the size of the box. Stores away nicely in the cabinet.
