When I saw this new serum from Anua, a brand I was already intrigued by, I had to try it! I liked the glass bottle and the tin screw top with a dropper. I used the serum after toner and before moisturizer. The product’s viscosity is water-like, soaks up fast and leaves skin hydrated – perhaps ever so slightly tacky, but not nearly as much as I’ve come to expect from hyaluronic serums. And this one contains 11 types of hyaluronic acid! No fragrance that I could detect, felt nice to apply, I enjoyed it. I will note one last thing… This is advertised as containing PDRN, which gave me a bit of pause at first (look it up). But for some reason the full ingredient list didn’t actually include Polydeoxyribonucleotide. Perhaps this got lost in translation.

I was shocked at how runny and water-like this serum was. It’s by far the thinnest “serum” I’ve ever used but that’s not a bad thing–just different. It’s super easy to apply but be careful not to use too much since it’s so thin. I love, love, love that there are no fragrances. I’m getting over a recent peel so I’m definitely using this to help my skin recover more quickly. No stinging or burning on even really sensitive areas. The glass bottle is top notch quality all around so I’d like to think that the product it’s preserving is too.

I struggling with finding stuff for my skin that doesn’t break me out. The quality is amazing and makes my skin shiny and soft. It doesn’t have a scent and I love how it is making my skin flow! This product is definitely effective

This face serum is not greasy at all and has a lovely blue tint. It looks like a luxury face care product in the glass bottle. I used it right after dermaplaning my face for the first time because I read that products with hyaluronic acid are helpful after dermaplaning. It did not irritate my sensitive skin at all, it just made my face look glowy and so I give 5 stars. I found the ingredient PDRN very interesting and unique in this product. It is supposed to help with skin cell repair and growth leading to healthy, vibrant, more youthful looking skin.

  5. Wanda

I like this serum’s consistency. It’s watery and soaks into my skin immediately. There’s no offensive scent. I have no irritation from it after using it for a week. I’m able to incorporate it into my nightly skincare routine with no issues. My face feels soft and well hydrated from using it. I have a few Anua serum, lotion, toner products (as well as other k-beauty skincare products) and so far everything I’ve tried from this brand is gentle and well tolerated by my skin. Their product packaging is very attractive as well.

Having moved from a subtropical climate to a “hey look, it’s now 17 degrees” climate, my skin took a hit: it went from normal to dry and dryer. Made worse by the fact that I’m over 60.

I’ve used a great number of different products over the past few years. Most are fine, some “meh”, some good, and a rare few that I know I will purchase again because I love the results. Korean skin care products are among my favorites, and this Anua serum is now very much a favorite. It is one of the rare few products that I know I will purchase again.

The first application had me impressed with how smooth and supple my skin felt. So I have been using it morning and night for the past week. Even with treks outside into the wind and the below freezing temperatures, my skin is staying soft. Previous dry patches are even gone! Instead of the ravages of winter, this Anua serum has my skin convinced it’s in the bloom of Spring.

It’s a deceptively thin consistency, almost like a “dry oil” and very quickly absorbed. It leaves no grease or stickiness. Yet I can feel a barrier of protection.

I am very sensitive to ingredients in some products. With this serum, I’ve had no negative reactions. I’m actually seeing smoother, healthier skin in just a week.

The presentation is lovely. The dropper works well. The price is very reasonable. The only regret here is in any delay in having started using it.

I love the prospect of combining collagen, hyaluronic acid, and PDRN (listed by the alternate name Sodium DNA in the ingredients list) for potential anti-aging and hydration benefits. Korean skincare is often in the forefront of new ingredients, and although PDRN looks funny at first glance on the bottle, the research behind it is actually really interesting!

This serum arrived in a branded box with a safety seal. The product itself is in a frosted glass bottle with a dropper top. It looks blue in the bottle, but goes on clear. It has a lightweight texture and viscosity, and no added fragrance (but a very slight medicinal scent).

I have normal, generally non-sensitive skin, and it absorbs quickly after cleansing and toning. Because it’s thinner than many other HLA serums, you can layer it with other serums/ampoules or even itself. It also has no tacky/sticky finish.

I can’t speak to longer term anti-aging benefits yet, but it absolutely leaves my skin feeling very soft, hydrated, firmer, and refreshed. My skin loves HLA as it is, but this serum seems to have more impact and staying power than other HLA serums I’ve used (from either Korean or US brands) in the same price category.

I must have an allergy. Developed itchy red bumps after a few uses. Ended up throwing this out. I don’t usually have sensitive skin. Bummed.
