After getting so many 12v aftermarket batteries, I didn’t have very high expectations. They are usually advertised way over the Ah value than what they even could be. This seems to be at least relatively reasonably close to what you can get out of the components that are in it.
I haven’t done much in the way of head-to-head performance with OEM batteries, as all my OEMs are pretty used. But I’d have to say that I think it would perform pretty close to a new OEM battery. I even though I’d smoked it by over drawing it with an aftermarket device, but it turned out that it must have done some sort of fault protection thing because it charged up and worked fine.

This replacement battery is a great option and value. It is as powerful if not more than the original batteries. It is made with quality materials and fits perfectly with out issue. The front has a level check so you always know how much battery is left(this may be the only issue as the lights bleed and can be hard to see at times). Charges on the normal Milwaukee charger.

I rate this one highly compared to other replacements because they actually have a a rubberized bottom like the OEM. They work fine on the tool and charger for your day to day use, but have been shown in tests to not produce 100 percent the same torque and power as the OEM, more like 85 – 90 percent. So in all but the most stressful of situations would these be not as good.
But for us that actually work in the trades we know those situations are far and few between enough that having a beater battery that just works and you don’t have to worry as much about as much being lost or stolen on the job site is worth it. Save your OEM for the heaviest hardest most demanding cutting and drilling, but keep this on you most of the time to preserve the pricey OEM battery.

The batteries for my cordless drill are getting long in the tooth, although they still hold a charge well. However, it was time to start looking for a replacement, and I found this beauty offering three times the Ah (5 versus 1.5) for a great price. The description said it works with my drill and charger, so I grabbed it.
My first step was to see if it worked with my charger, and it did perfectly. Next, I wanted to see how it fit my drill and if there were any clearance issues with the belt clip. The new battery was very snug and took a lot of pressure to fully seat it. I suspect it will loosen with use. The battery cleared the belt clip just fine and happily powered my drill.
I like the extra use time the 5 Ah capacity provides and how affordable the battery is. I also like the rugged build and the fact that it’s an excellent match color-wise. Yes, it’s a trivial point, but I like that it matches anyway.
My last test was to see if the new battery fit in my case. It is too big to fit installed in the drill or by itself, which I expected given its larger size. When not in use, it will live with my other rechargeable batteries.
Going with this option is an excellent option if you need a new battery for your cordless drill.
