  1. Amazon Customer

Product was well made and arrived promptly and in good condition. Unfortunately, one of them will not accept a charge after intermittent use less than 3 months of receiving them. Very disappointed.

I own and Frequently Use several DeWALT 20-Volt MAX Power Tools. Use Mostly the Drills ! This Excellent Quality [Large Capacity: Run Time] Battery Fits Securely on ALL of My DeWALT Tools … and Works as Expected … Absolutely No Problems ! Pretty Simple: Connect/Disconnect: Works Wery Well. Excellent Torque from Tools … Long Run Time. Fits Securely on ALL of the DeWALT Chargers also. I Like the Green ‘Charge’ Status Indicator Light on the Base … Depress the Button and You can see how much ‘Power/Run TiIme’ is Remaining. Excellent Feature. Battery arrived with a Partial Charge. I Charged it for a few hours [did not sit and monitor it] … and It was at Full Capacity. Depending on the Length of Time and Usage [Torque] of the Power Tool … This Battery Lasted Several Hours Before Requiring a re-Charge. I am Very Impresses with the Quality and Actual ‘Run Time /Usage’ I am Getting with each Charge. I Highly Recommend this Quality 20-Volt DeWALT Power Tool ‘Replacement Battery’ !

Just recently, quite a few 3rd party batteries for Dewalt tools have started to show up, and I’ve been requesting the ones that I can review for testing. It typically takes a full year to really test a battery, so I’ll post an update next year. So far, so good. I am able to charge the battery on all of my Dewalt chargers, and the battery works in all of the devices that can use it.

The battery doesn’t get hot while charging, which is one of the tests, as overcharging destroys batteries faster than anything else. It also means that the internal circuit board is functioning properly. The only test that I don’t do, is a short circuit protection test, but if the battery lasts a year, that should be a good indication that it is a good battery.

First party doesn’t mean good! I say that because the first party batteries for my camera are absolutely terrible, and barely last a year, if that. I’ve stopped using them and am using 3rd party batteries that are better, last much longer (5+ years), and cost a fraction of the cost of the first party batteries. I will add that I have had some bad experiences with Dewalt batteries, where they would be completely dead within a couple years. With low usage, lithium batteries should last a minimum of 5 years.

Depending upon the battery, and how it is charged (fast charging cuts the lifetime in half), batteries should last through either 600, 2000, or 3000 full charge life-cycles. If the battery is at 75% and you charge it to full, that is only a 1/4 (25%) life-cycle. BEST

I have a dewalt electric mower, but I wanted extra batteries when using it. These so far are able to power it without overheating. I have a problem in the past the knockoff batteries can’t take high surges. So far these are working out.

  5. David Paul

I bought these extra batteries for a new buffer/waxer and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. The batteries have been used and charged several;l time already and they are doing great and holding the charge consistently.

    Good

  7. salvador sanchez jr

Works just like the original. In fact, it slides on and off tool and into charger better than original with a little more tolerance.

Time will tell how it holds up. However, as far as value for money, I am very happy

    The battery does not charge!!!!
